Santa Claus arrived at the Enlisted Men’s Club in Presidio on December 22, 1952 much to the delight of the children. Presidio is a park and former U.S. Army fort on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula. It is now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
